Drug Boss Anthony 'Bang' Blake Arrested In Philly Bust

A Philadelphia-area drug boss and 19 other members of a trafficking organization were arrested in a large-scale drug bust, authorities said in a Tuesday, Nov. 19 news release.

Anthony “Bang” Blake, 45, of Philadelphia, and 19 others are facing various drug trafficking charges after dozens of search warrants were executed in the Philadelphia area and parts of New Jersey in early November, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office news release states.

The drug bust resulted in the seizure of:

  • 20 firearms.
  • 12.5 pounds of cocaine.
  • $72,356 cash.
  • Quantities of fentanyl, MDMA, promethazine with codeine, and marijuana.
  • Various drug paraphernalia.

Blake was charged with corrupt organizations, felony possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, and various firearms offenses, according to court documents. He's being held in Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philadelphia on $500,000 bail.

A bail hearing is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6, court documents state.

  • Tyrone Hayward.
  • Shawn Sanford.
  • Zamir Allen.
  • Irvin Sanders.
  • Clifford Nixon.
  • Ramses Rodriguez.
  • Anthony Brown.
  • Monica Cleveland.
  • Amber Tressler.
  • Carlos Alvelo.
  • Norberto Toldeo.
  • Christopher Ramos.
  • Jerime Jones.
  • Jillian Carrington.

Khalil Rippy, Terrell Brice, and Jonathan Cruz have active arrest warrants against them based on the search warrants, the news release states.

All of them were charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy, and other offenses, including illegal firearms possession, according to the news release.

Pennsylvania and New Jersey state police were assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Montgomery County Detectives, and Delaware County Drug Task Force, the news release states.
